We would really appreciate any donation that you might be able to make to help us support people with bleeding disorders. You can donate money to the charity through the most popular channels which can be accessed by clicking on the image above.
The trustees of The Platelet Charity have not yet registered for GiftAid, as the significant paper-based administrative requirements are both costly and complex to undertake and for a very small charity this current burden outweighs the additional income benefit to any fundraising monies. The trustees would welcome a de minimis level, below which Gift Aid claims on donations to sponsored events can be made automatically – a proposal put forward to the Gift Aid Forum, a body set up by the HM Treasury to consider further measures needed to improve Gift Aid.

By leaving a gift to The Platelet Charity in your Will, you’ll be helping to support medical research for platelet function disorders.
Leaving a legacy gift is an important decision, but it doesn’t have to be complicated.
State in your Will that you would like to leave a gift to us. We recommend using a solicitor or professional will-writer to make sure your Will is legal and valid. Include our full name, to make sure the money goes to the right place: The Platelet Charity, Registered Charity Numbers in England and Wales (1151168).
If you have already written us into your Will, we’re very grateful and would love it if you could let us know.
Thank you so much.
You can donate when you shop online with your favourite stores.
Its really easy and a great way of donating without it costing you a penny.
We have signed up with Give As You Live and Easyfundraising, both of whom have linked up with the most popular retailers who will provide a percentage of the money you spend with them online to your chosen cause. We would love for that to be The Platelet Charity.
